Uncoated

Using an uncoated stock allows ink to sink into the paper easily, as it is very porous and creates a slightly rough-to-the-touch finish. The way the ink bleeds into the uncoated paper gives a rich, full colour and is great to create a vintage look.

Coated

Coated paper provides a sheen finish, with the ink lying on top of the paper as opposed to sinking in like the uncoated stock. A coated stock typically creates a glossy look, however can be adapted to deliver a dull, matte or silk finish.

Speciality/Textured

If the two traditional stocks above aren’t suited to your needs, we can create a speciality or textured finish for your tags, such as an iridescent look, kraft paper or multi-layered.
